Accessing Data With ADO and the ADO Data Control

So far in this chapter, you have seen how to use automated, dialogdriven VB design-time facilities to set up a data environment that exposes a Recordset to the programmer through Connection and Command objects.

There are two other major ways to program with ADO:

  • The ADO Data Control

  • Directly programming the ADO object model
