Finally, you can also evaluate any expression in Break mode by selecting it and positioning the mouse cursor over the expression for a moment. The expression and its value are displayed like the ToolTips that appear when you momentarily hold the mouse pointer over a toolbar button. You don’t get a chance to add the expression to the Watch window this way, but you can take advantage of this technique to minimize clutter in your Watch window.

If you don’t need to constantly monitor a variable, just point at it when you need to know its current value.
